Someone asked me what I thought about death and how I would want to die. I thought that was a weird question due to the fact that I don't have a clear idea on what death is, let alone how I want to leave this Earth. I know it's a part of life and we all have to do it. The best way that I can describe how I want to die is by a part of the song 'I Will Follow You Into The Dark' by Death Cab For Cutie. It goes:
Love of mine some day you will die
But I'll be close behind
I'll follow you into the dark
No blinding light or tunnels to gates of white
Just our hands clasped so tight
Waiting for the hint of a spark...
Seems legit to me. Isn't that how we all want to go out? With the person you love.
